It’s not often I paint a piece and feel it’s complete. I often refer to most of my pieces as being ‘dormant’ - ready for the next layer at some point in time. This piece initially took inspiration from the shapes and forms of my loved ones embraced, however developed into its own in time. I’m happy to say I’m proud of this one - I look at her with joy.
