Steel coils with handmade mixed-media orbs

This large-scale installation draws on the playful spirit of childhood bead mazes and invites movement, touch, and curiosity. I fabricated it by hand with guidance from Gerard Dombroski, bending, welding, and composing steel coils and experimenting with large-scale ball mechanisms. The process was rooted in exploration, leaving room for intuition, material discovery, and personal expression to shape the form.

It opens a space for physical and emotional connection, where people can trace paths, follow rhythms, and rediscover the simple joy of play. Merging memory with motion, it blurs the line between artwork and experience, encouraging hands-on wonder and quieter moments of reflection.
